Savion Glover continues his valiant effort to bring tap and dance back into the jazz world with a very special series of concerts at the Blue Note featuring the masters of jazz. Playing jazz offers Glover the chance to improvise, tapping rhythmic beats and sequences that allow him to act as both a percussionist and a melodic voice. For his Blue Note run, Glover will share the stage with some of the greatest improvisers in jazz history: McCoy Tyner (11/17), Roy Haynes (11/18), Eddie Palmieri (11/19), and Jack DeJohnette (11/21-22). A guest for 11/20 will be announced soon.
