E. Michael Lockley

ERIC LOCKLEY is an actor, playwright, and Executive Director of The Movement Theatre Company. He graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama and a double major in African Studies. Film credits include: A Riot in the Dark (SAG Indie Audience Award), Underbelly (Hollywood Black Film Festival), and Midway (HBO Network 2007 ABFF finalist). Stage credits include: The Winter's Tale, Cold Keener, Holes, Black Terror, 07:00 Sec., Cato, and CHAINS, performed in South Africa. Eric has written two one-man shows, Last Laugh (La MaMa, P.S. 122), and Asking For More (Theater for the New City). His one-act play, Blacken the Bubble, was presented to sold-out crowds in the Spring of '09 and is anticipating another production at New York Theatre Workshop in the Spring of 2010.
