Melanie N. Lee
MELANIE N. LEE has been penning an original screenplay and collaborating on an adapted musical, and is now pursuing a Masters in Adolescent Education (English) at Hunter College through the New Visions Urban Teacher Residency. Before, she tutored seven years at the Writing Centers of Queensborough Community College and Queens College, and taught English 101 at QCC. She holds an MA in English/Creative Writing from Queens College. Librettist for Travis Tanner (FringeNYC 2005) and Shua: the Lamb of Freedom (New Life Fellowship, Elmhurst, NY, 2000), Melanie has performed in choruses of community theaters in Flushing, Queens, and last year frightened audiences as Fruma Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof.
