David DelGrosso
DAVID DELGROSSO is an actor, director, and teaching artist. As an actor in New York City he has performed with companies including Moonwork and Blue Coyote Theater Group and he is a frequent collaborator of playwright Matthew Freeman and actor Matthew Trumbull. With The Aquila Theatre Company, he has performed in several national tours, led acting workshops across the country, and last year created an after-school Shakespeare program at Frederick Douglass Academy in Harlem, culminating in a performance of A Midsummer Nights Dream by more than 70 Middle and High School students. He was also the Assistant Director and Stage Manager of the successful, long-running off-Broadway production of Aquilas Comedy of Errors in 2002. He is currently a Teaching Artist for the New Victory Theater and Lincoln Center Theater. He has been a reviewer for nytheatre.com since 2004 and is also a contributing writer to Comics Now! quarterly print magazine available in comics shops nationwide starting in November 2007. He is a graduate of Emerson College.
