SOPHIA BUSHONG is a New York-based actress. She can currently be seen in a commercial for CarMax, playing a woman who is decidedly not pregnant. Regionally she has worked frequently with the Phoenix Players of College Point, Queens and Pendragon Theatre of Saranac Lake, New York. Favorite roles include: The Angel in Angels in America at Pendragon Theatre, Sylvia in Sylvia at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, Madge Larrabee in Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure at Arkansas Repertory Theatre, and Freida in Statements After An Arrest Under The Immorality Act, for Prospect Theatre Company's Dark Night series. She has trained extensively with vocal coach Robert Perillo, at the American Globe Theatre Conservatory, and at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. She has a BA from Dickinson College in Dramatic Arts and English Literature.
