George the Fourth

Produced by Michael T. Middleton

Author: Michael T. Middleton

George the Fourth is a dark comedy about what happens when a young woman tries to force her estranged, acerbic parents out of their comfort zone by bringing home a fiancé she knows they can't possibly accept. Alcohol, a little too much honesty and a stuffed coyote from a local bar all contribute to a result that she couldn't possibly have seen coming.

The show presents a comedic (but very dark) take on the traditional concept of family dynamics but also addresses the reality of a generation that seems a little slow to grow up.

It's a bit of a long story, but I suppose of all my work it is the one that the most people believed in. In some manner I was pushed into presenting it by other people.
