Doppelganger Joe speaks of the desire for stardom, celebrity and the need for fame. Our culture is obsessed with celebrities. The success of magazines US Weekly and People and websites like "Perez Hilton", "TMZ" and "Gawker" are a testament to that. This is a zany, whirlwind of a tale of what one woman will do to make it to the top. Will she get there in one piece? I think audiences will identify and at times feel estranged but all at once be amused and entertained.

I want to present this show because it is a fun way to showcase fame, greed, power, stardom with the rarely talked about myth of Doppelgangers. It is a screwball, unpredictable show that is unique.
