CREENA DEFOOUIE

Produced by Ruby Bloomsbury Theatre

Author: Charlotte Barton-Hoare

Creena DeFoouie is a surreal gothic comedy about a vampish counsellor who can't help bumping off her mental patients. Enter Rambey House (the abode that removes the 'in' from insane) and meet a cast of grotesques such as Superintendent Russell Hardon and Kenny Buckwald, not to forget the deranged DeFoouie herself! Think Cruella De Vil, Columbia from The Rocky Horror Picture Show with a pinch of Sally Bowles and you've just about got Creena. Like Ab Fab meets The Addams Family stopping off at Rocky Horror on the way, the goings on at Rambey House veer between schlock horror and high camp.
