A Sagacious Hunch

Produced by JM MACS

Author: John McDermott

A Sagacious Hunch is a modern day NYC story about the moral dilemmas of two detectives and the "hard love" tactics of a car thief's wife. An interesting synopsis, perhaps, but hardly a cause to storm through the gates of our designated theatre. To compensate for my mediocre attempt to excite the senses, I've decided to "hand over the goods" as we locals would say. I'm going to invite you into a world where people love for all the wrong reasons. I'll show you a place where addictions get cured unexpectedly, and a power greater than Kryptonite is a threat to no one. When you've finally figured out that you're laughing at yourself and not  "Lenny, The Car thief " or "Lo-la, The Annoying Bank Teller," it will be too late. Hunches have expiration dates and a New York Minute is closer to twenty seconds. Goodguys and badguys, charity and greed, in this city they're all the same. So after you've looked up or asked someone what Sagacious means, take a look in the mirror. You ARE one of the characters in this show. It's time you owned up to it.
