 Come Fly Away: A new musical created by Twyla Tharp, with vocals by Frank Sinatra, that follows four couples as they fall in and out of love during one song and dance filled evening at a crowded nightclub. Closes September 5, 2010.

One Arm and a Leg: A devised work combining dance and theatre in which a woman decides to give herself, part by part, to a stranger. Closes September 4, 2010.

Summer Shorts 4: A program of eight new short plays by Christopher Stetson Boal, Roger Hedden, Wendy Kesselman, Neil Koenigsberg, Neil LaBute, Deb Margolin, Timothy Mason, and Alan Zweibel. Closes September 2, 2010.

WABI SABI Not Wasabi!: A new play about two Asian American women who leave suburbia for New York City. This is part of the Dream Up Festival. Closes September 4, 2010.

A Taste of Altruistic; Wardrobe of the living dead and Choose your Grown Adventure: A small collection of one acts created as a taste of the type of theatre these artists produce. This is part of the Dream Up Festival. Performances are this week only.

 Accomplice: New York: An interactive theatre experience combining a scavenger hunt and a walking tour of Manhattan. Closes November 15, 2010.

Bottom of the World: A new play by Lucy Thurber about a woman who delves into the world of her late sister's novel to try to overcome her grief. In previews; opens on September 14, 2010.

Gone Fission, or Alternative Power: Theater for the New City's annual street theater production is a politically activist musical that will tour all five boroughs of NYC. Closes September 12, 2010.

In the Heights: A new musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegria Hudes about two days in the life of a Washington Heights neighborhood.

Lost Boy Found in Whole Foods: A play by Tammy Ryan about a boy from Sudan who meets a suburban American mother. Closes September 19, 2010.

 Love, Loss, and What I Wore: A program of vignettes and monologues by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman.

Mamma Mia: A musical comedy about a woman who invites three men who may be her father to her wedding, with lots of songs by ABBA.

Morro and Jasp Do Puberty: This show explores the world of clown sisters Morro and Jasp racing head first into their bloodiest challenge yet. Closes September 12, 2010.

Ms. Pretty Smart, Secret Agent / Perhaps, Perhaps, Quizas: A double bill: A solo clown show set in a fantasy world of adventure, heroism, and stupidity; and a clown theatre piece from Mexico about a woman waiting for the right man. Closes September 12, 2010.

My Artichoke Heart / What the Sparrow Said: A program of two new short plays. This is part of the Dream Up Festival. Performances are this week only.

Naked in a Fishbowl: A return of the improvised play about four women living in New York City.

Phantom of the Opera: A new musical by by Michael Sgouros and Brenda Bell based on the famous novel; this is not the long-running Broadway show. Closes December 30, 2010.

Pinkalicious: Vital Children's Theatre presents a musical by Elizabeth and Victoria Kann and John Gregor about a girl who can't stop eating pink cupcakes.

underneathmybed: A new play by Florencia Lozano in which ghosts of a dirty foreign war haunt a family. In previews; opens on September 10, 2010.

Vision Disturbance: A new play by Christina Masciotti about a Greek immigrant woman who loses her vision. Closes September 18, 2010.

Wicked: A new musical by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman in which we learn the story of the early life of Elphaba, who later becomes the Wicked Witch of the West in the land of Oz.

 Wife To James Whelan: A tale of star-crossed lovers, by Irish playwright Teresa Deevy. Closes October 3, 2010.
