What is your job on this show?
What is your show about?
A pop culture, musical journey about teenage girl wants to be an Idol-like star but her parents want her to score a 2400 on her SAT and go to college.
When did you know you wanted to work in the theater, and why?
I had the theater bug in high school after doing summer stock at a community college with Billy Crystal and lots of other talented folks.
What are some of your previous theater credits? (Be specific! Name shows, etc.)
My other credits include: My Boyfriend Is A Zombie (musical)writer/director), The Lonely Soldier Monologues (drama) director, Betty & The Belrays (musical) writer/director, The Hamlet Project (rock musical) director/composer
Do you think the audience will talk about your show for 5 minutes, an hour, or way into the wee hours of the night?
They will talk about this show for weeks and weeks as they return with their friends to see it before it moves on to bigger and better things!!!!
Which famous person would you most like to get a fan letter from: Meryl Streep, Lindsay Lohan, Steven Spielberg, Philip Seymour Hoffman?
I'd like to get a letter from Lindsay Lohan. She's part of today's pop culture and that's why she's mentioned in the show along with Kim Kardashian, Tebow, Michael Jackson, Snooki & Jwoow, and the Mars Rover!!!!
How important is diversity to you in the theater you see/make?
Diversity is very important in the theater. I have a mixed cast. The lead character, Stacey Star, is even adopted (it's in the script). A cast with different ethnic members brings excitement, energy, and a wealth of talent to the stage.
