What is your job on this show?
Artistic Director/Choreographer.

When did you know you wanted to work in the theater, and why?
I was in my first flamenco dance company at the age of 15 in San Francisco. When I had my very first dance solo, I remember walking onto that huge stage with the lights absolutely blinding me, looking out onto the sea of faces just staring at me. I was terrified but exhilarated and I never wanted to stop performing since.

Complete this sentence: My show is the only one in FringeNYC that...?
will have the best flamenco show :)

Do you think the audience will talk about your show for 5 minutes, an hour, or way into the wee hours of the night?
I'm hoping that our show will be unforgettable to audiences -- for those who have seen flamenco before and those who haven't. This is such a talented cast of musicians and dancers, and I'm so excited to be working with them all. We're striving to inspire and transport people into another world, in which they forget about the real world and enter ours.

Which “S” word best describes your show: SMOOTH, SEXY, SMART, SURPRISING?
The answer is most definitely SEXY.

Why should people come to FringeNYC this summer, rather than the beach, mountains, or the latest movie blockbuster?
FringeNYC will feature entertainment/music/theatre that you can't see anywhere else. It's cutting edge stuff.
