What is your job on this show?
Playwright and Actor.

When did you know you wanted to work in the theater, and why?
I knew I wanted to work in theater after taking my first class at Second City. Live theater creates a connection and intimacy you can’t achieve in film or TV and presenting an entire show through the art of improve just heightened that whole experience for me. It was like opening all of my Christmas presents and then later finding one more under the tree.

What does solo performance do that can't be accomplished in a multi-actor play?
I love working with a cast, but when it comes to performing as myself and as people close to me, a solo performance is the most personal way to do it. It brings a whole different level of vulnerability to each character.

What was the most memorable/funny/unusual thing that has happened during the development and rehearsal process for this show?
My mom asking me why I had to name my show "Lady Luck is a Whore".

Which cartoon character would you identify your show with: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Mickey Mouse, Marge Simpson?
Marge Simpson. I could have easily married Homer.

If you had ten million dollars that you had to spend on theatrical endeavors, how would you use the money?
If I had ten million dollars to spend on theatrical endeavors, I would spend my life writing, performing, and sharing the experience with others. In order to do that, I would invest the money into a theater within my community who’s mission is to give writing and performing opportunities to artists who are also committed to giving back.
