What is your job on this show?
Dramaturg.
Do you like to read plays, or just perform them?
I actually love both. Reading plays requires a tremendous amount of imagination--more than any other kind of reading, I think.
Why do you do theater (as opposed to film, or TV, or something not in the entertainment field)?
Because it's always a collaboration, and I like working with other artists. It's also a collaboration with the audience, so it changes every night.
Why did you want to write/direct/produce/act in/work on this show?
I have really enjoyed David and Adam's previous shows ("Silence of Lucky" and "David Lee Nelson....Status Update"). It' been amazing to become a part of that team.
People who like which of the following recent Broadway shows would also probably like your show: THE BOOK OF MORMON, ONCE, DEATH OF A SALESMAN, CLYBOURNE PARK?
Book of Mormon.
Can theater bring about societal change? Why or why not?
Absolutely. Theatre allows us to experience another perspective of the world, and I think opening up our hearts and minds to a new perspective can create change.
