What is your job on this show?
Projection Designer.
Where were you born? Where were you raised? Where did you go to school?
I was born in Chicago Illinois, raised in Rochester Minnesota. After joining the US Navy as a Nuclear Engineer I ended up switching to a theater degree in Norfolk, Virginia after my enlistment. I am now transferring to Fordham University this upcoming semester with the aim to complete an undergrad degree in Directing and Design.
Complete this sentence: My show is the only one in FringeNYC that...?
presents anachronistic material in such a way that really brings a lost but relevant piece of regional history to life.
Why did you want to write/direct/produce/act in/work on this show?
The show really presents an opportunity to showcase art through projection in both a beautiful and poignant way that brings a spectacular art form (the panorama paintings) to a modern audience.
Which famous New Jerseyite would like your show the best: Snooki, Bruce Springsteen, Thomas Edison?
Thomas Edison, hands down. Bruce Springsteen would most likely ask to sing along and Snooki would probably not get past wondering if the panorama art was "real life" or not.
If you had ten million dollars that you had to spend on theatrical endeavors, how would you use the money?
First I would establish a trust for the benefit of of the emerging technical fields of theater and film. Second I would found a theater lab and find a way to bring the idea of a fully immersive theater to life on the forefront of emerging technologies.
