Actor, playing the lead role of Mildred.

What is your show about?
Expiration Date is a serio-comic play that takes place in 2113 and explores the brave new world of technology and what it means to be human.

Where were you born? Where were you raised? Where did you go to school?
I'm from New York, grew up on Long Island and went to Vassar College.

My show, Expiration Date, is the only one opening in NYC this summer that takes place in the year 2113 and involves characters who live inside computer-like devices.

Do you think the audience will talk about your show for 5 minutes, an hour, or way into the wee hours of the night?
I think it will spark ongoing conversations about what technology is doing for us and to us. Technology is ushering in all sorts of amazing medical breakthroughs allowing us to live longer which raises questions about how much control we'll have over our bodies and our lives.

Why are theater festivals so very important?
Theater festivals bring together all different areas of live performance and with it a lively exchange of ideas. It provides an important opportunity for new works and performers to gain exposure as well as for audiences to gain exposure to shows and performers they might not otherwise know about or be able to see.
