What is your job on this show?
Playwright.

When did you know you wanted to work in the theater, and why?
Well, my four younger siblings will say I was always "directing" them, but I'd say that the theatre bug "bit" when I starred in "Wiggleworm to the Rescue" in 6th grade.

Complete this sentence: My show is the only one opening in NYC this fall that...?
uses the code words "peanut butter" and "jelly."

In your own words, what do you think this show is about? What will audiences take away with them after seeing it?
This show is about loving someone who is hard to love. For the Martin family in the play, that "someone" is Josh, who has severe autism - but the family dynamic will be familiar to anyone who has been in a caretaker position. The audience will take with them the roller-coaster ride experience of a "typical" day for this family: laughter, danger, tears.

Groucho, Chico, Harpo, or Zeppo?
Harpo.

Who are your heroes?
Anna Deavere-Smith, my Dad, Anne Lamott, Seth Godin, Elaine Hall, Terry Schnuck, my children, Agnes Wilcox, my husband Steve
