What is your job on this show?
Playwright & Producer.
What type of theater do you like most to work on?
I like theater that makes me think. That asks interesting questions and invites me to decide whether or not an answer is even possible.
Why did you want to be part of FringeNYC?
Fringe Festivals are so invigorating, for artists and audiences. Giving this new play that frenetic Fringe energy is something I've wanted to do for a long time.
Do you think the audience will talk about your show for 5 minutes, an hour, or way into the wee hours of the night?
I hope for even longer. This piece focuses on 3 interesting characters, and there isn't a clear antagonist or protagonist. They're 3 people trying to make the best decisions they can. Unfortunately, like many of us, they often fail.
Which “S” word best describes your show: SMOOTH, SEXY, SMART, SURPRISING?
Surprising
Can theatre bring about societal change? Why or why not?
Yes! I believe theater has the power to increase the amount of empathy in our culture (and this is what Transient Theater is all about.)
