What is your job on this show?
Actor.
Where were you born? Where were you raised? Where did you go to school?
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Attended school in Oregon, as well.
Why do you do theater (as opposed to film, or TV, or something not in the entertainment field)?
Theatre creates a focused moment in time which the performer and the audience collectively create and inhabit. This requires freedom and structure, and trust. No other medium requires so much to be given.
In your own words, what do you think this show is about? What will audiences take away with them after seeing it?
This show is about the joys of Halloween in America- the costumes, make-believe, candy, and silly spooky. Audiences seeing the show will be reminded of the fun they have or CAN have each Halloween.
Which cartoon character would you identify your show with: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Mickey Mouse, Marge Simpson?
Daffy Duck, of courth.
Theater is a necessary ingredient in democratic societies. Do you agree or disagree, and why?
Theatre IS a necessary ingredient in democratic societies. The free exchange of ideas is required for societies to grow. For members of a democracy to make responsible choices for one another they must understand each other. Theatre creates opportunities for people to be immersed in the world of another, and perhaps understand that world. As we understand each other we can make choices as a society that benefit the society as a whole.
