What is your job on this show?
Actor.
Where were you born? Where were you raised? Where did you go to school?
I was born in Fanwood NJ. It’s a small town only one square mile. I attended Scotch Plains – Fanwood Public school 1st- 12 and then studied psychology at Rutgers University. I just recently moved to New York after a four years living outside of Philly.
Why do you do theater (as opposed to film, or TV, or something not in the entertainment field)?
Why do I do theater? Capturing a live audience and holding them in the palm of your hand for 2 hrs. , making them feels emotions that most of us choose to ignore in day to day encounters. I do theater because I get to create those moments, Happy and sad. Besides who wants to be themselves all the time?
Do you think the audience will talk about your show for 5 minutes, an hour, or way into the wee hours of the night?
Most definitely Audiences will be raving about Geeks! Into the wee hours of the night, perhaps even longer!
People who like which of the following recent Broadway shows would also probably like your show: THE BOOK OF MORMON, ONCE, DEATH OF A SALESMAN, CLYBOURNE PARK?
THE BOOK OF MORMON!!!
Theater is a necessary ingredient in democratic societies. Do you agree or disagree, and why?
Yes, Theater is a key aspect in all democratic societies! Theater is art and without art there is no flow of ideas. I think Bill T. Jones said it best. "Participation in the world of ideas. That is what art-making is." And that is what democracy is.
